Ortiz grew up in Guadalajara, Mexico, and has been a PGA player since 2016. As Vidanta Golf’s ambassador, he has represented the brand at some the most important golf events in the world. Ortiz began his career as a professional golfer in 2013. The following year, he competed in the Web.com Tour and won three titles in one of the most competitive golf circuits, before being named the Web.com Tour Player of the Year. He was the tenth player in the history of the Web.com Tour to win three competitions in one season. These wins include the Panama Claro Championship, the El Bosque Mexico Championship and WinCo Foods Portland Tournament, which scored him the spot of the number two player in the circuit's winners list and led to his PGA Tour card.
Vidanta Golf is a proud sponsor of one of the most important Mexican golfers and has distinguished itself as one of the sport’s leading champions throughout all of Mexico. They’ve also created some of the most unique golf experiences in the country, including courses designed by Greg Norman or Jack Nicklaus, as well as the best practice facilities.
