NCAA Women's Golf InvitationalPunta Sur Golf Course, the breathtaking ocean side golf course by Nicklaus Design in Puerto Peñasco, Mexico, was host to the University of Arizona Wildcat Invitational. Less than a couple hours from the border between Arizona and Mexico, Mayan Palace lodged 18 collegiate women's golf teams, including 15 of the top 20 ranked teams. The tournament was a great success. A nice touch were children's golf sets provided by Nike that were handed out to children including a personal lesson from some of the lady golfers. This tournament was one of many to come at this and other Vidanta Golf located next to Grupo Mayan properties.
